Question:
Does this require a mains connection or is it powered by USB?
Answer: It comes with a mains connector and it needs this to work. The USB cable is used to connect to your laptop to view the scans. -
Question:
What's the maximum thickness of book one can scan. I have books which have 1,000 pages and are 5cm thick when closed.
Answer: The recommended maximum thickness for a opened book is 5.5cm. If the thickness is over 5.5cm, the scanner won't be able to focus on the book pages correctly which will reduce the scanned image quality. -
Question:
Does the software supports bulgarian? it is in means is it possible to scan document and save the result in word format on bulgarian lenguage?

Question:
Can it be used with a book rest?
Answer: To scan book with ET16 Plus, the book need to be placed on the supplied flat background pad. Anything else other than the book on the background pad will cause image processing error ad it will confuse the scanner software. -
Question:
Will this do a quality scan of old printed photos in books? I have a large number of victorian printed photo albums I wish to scan.
Answer: If your main purpose is to scan artworks/photos, we would not recommend it as the image quality may not be high enough for those jobs. -

Is it possiable to merge the A3 scans to a larger image of say a A1 size?
Answer: The merge of scanned images can only be done manually, the scanner software itself does not support such function. -

Can i export the image as a jpeg rather than a pdf but still have the software automatically crop the image to the correct shape?
Answer: Sadly not. The CZUR software package allows scans to saved as PDF, Searchable PDF, TIFF, Excel (OCR) and Word OCR.
