Lurch Cooking Torches 10893 Editorial Review
The Lurch Germany Kitchen Torch is a versatile and easy-to-use tool for various culinary tasks. It has a comfortable grip and the child safety feature is not intrusive. The torch ignites instantly and Consistently, providing a strong flame for tasks like caramelizing sugar. However, users have noted that the flame can flare if the tank is overfilled and the "continuous" feature is used. Despite this, the flare is not dangerous and will not engulf the hand like cheaper torches. The only downside is that some users wish the flame could be adjusted to a smaller size. Additionally, the torch is amazingly lightweight, making it easy to handle during use. Some customers have expressed their desire for more color options, as they prefer the neon lime green color shown in the owner's manual over the available black model. However, this is a minor aesthetic preference. Overall, the Lurch Germany Kitchen Torch is a reliable and efficient tool for culinary tasks. It is particularly praised for its child safety feature, ease of use, and Consistent ignition.
