This vacuum tube retainer is a spring-type retainer which is suitable for EL34, 6L6, and 5881 tubes. It is versatile and can be adjusted to fit different tube sizes. One retainer is needed for each tube. Customers have used it successfully on different types of tube amps including the Fender Princeton and the Gz34/5AR4. However, it won't work for the smaller EL84 tubes found in some amps such as the Fender Blues Jr.
