The Martingale Collar for Dogs has garnered a mixed reception from customers, reflecting a broad range of experiences and sentiments surrounding its design and functionality. Several users praised the collar for its effectiveness in preventing slipping, particularly for larger breeds; one customer highlighted that their previous collar had issues with size adjustments, but this collar managed to fit securely without any slipping. Additionally, its bright green color received a mention, appreciated for adding visibility during walks. However, numerous concerns were raised regarding the collar’s durability and Construction. Some customers experienced significant issues with the chain, which many found to be too light and inadequately Constructed for larger or more powerful dogs. Feedback indicated that the absence of welded links led to potential failures of the collar when under strain, raising safety concerns. Users reported reliability issues, including one instance where a collar broke just three months after purchase due to a defective ring that wasn't welded, which could pose a serious risk during training sessions. Moreover, the collar's dimensions and weight appeared to be problematic for smaller breeds, causing discomfort and awkwardness. The bulkiness of the collar, combined with the dimension of the links, has led some customers to feel that it was not suitable for smaller dogs, particularly when used alongside other collars. In summary, while the Martingale Collar is effective in certain scenarios, particularly with larger breeds, its Construction and design flaws could potentially compromise the safety and comfort of dogs, especially smaller ones or during intense pull situations. **
