Barkers Skunk Sleeper

The Barkers Skunk Sleeper has garnered a mix of reactions from users centered around its functionality and design. Reviewers have noted that while the product does effectively serve its purpose in skunk removal, it presents certain challenges in usability, especially when paired with wire cage traps. Users find that the plastic plunger, a crucial component, often malfunctions, particularly in colder temperatures, which impacts its reliability. One user reported that the plunger broke about half the time, prompting them to create a custom plunger from aluminum as a workaround. The metal body of the Barkers Skunk Sleeper has received praise for its durable Construction, standing out compared to the plastic components that many found to be brittle or damaged upon arrival. Concerns were raised around the quality of the included plastic syringes, which were noted to arrive dry rotted, while attempts to use them resulted in further breakages. Despite these issues, the overall sentiment appears to lean towards satisfaction with the device’s effectiveness once users navigate the initial hurdles of operation and component durability. **
