Keychron K3 QMK Ultra-Slim Wireless Mechanical Keyboard Version 3, 75% Layout Hot Swappable Red Switch, RGB Backlight Rechargeable Wired Bluetooth

**** The Keychron K3 QMK Ultra-Slim Wireless Mechanical Keyboard Version 3 has sparked a varied reception among its users. Many appreciate its compact 75% layout and the versatility of being both wired and wireless. Users have praised the overall typing experience, particularly the tactile feel of the Brown "Banana" switches, which have seemingly transformed skeptics of tactile switches into enthusiasts. The sound and response of the keys mimic the satisfying ASMR typing sounds often seen in mechanical keyboard review videos, adding to the keyboard’s appeal for those seeking an immersive typing experience. However, the K3 does come with its share of drawbacks. The configuration process appears to be a common point of frustration—setting up the media keys requires additional software installation and can be confusing for users. The RGB backlighting is another sore spot; many users have found the brightness insufficient in well-lit environments and overall, lacking customization options at this price point. A significant concern arose from the orientation of the RGB lighting, detracting from the user experience for some keyboard owners. Ergonomically, the keyboard provides a decent typing position, but it still carries a need for wrist support, albeit less than traditional mechanical keyboards. Users reported issues with battery life, suggesting that the keyboard may not meet expectations for prolonged use, especially in wireless mode. Furthermore, some customers experienced problems with key switches not functioning correctly and felt let down by customer support in such cases. Despite these concerns, many view the K3 as a great travel companion due to its slim profile and responsive keys, making it a good option for users with limited desk space or those on the go. In conclusion, the Keychron K3 offers a notable typing experience, especially for enthusiasts, but the drawbacks in customization and reliability may deter others. **
