Zoku: An ''English interpretation'' dojo for authentic people

The reviews of this product reflect a predominantly negative sentiment among customers, who express significant disappointment with both the translation quality and the overall approach of the author. Many readers note that critical passages from influential texts are either omitted or misrepresented, particularly in the first two chapters, which cover excerpts from Thomas Nagel's "What Does It All Mean?" and Henry David Thoreau's "Walden." Customers are especially frustrated by the lack of a key conclusion from Nagel's chapter, which leaves a major thematic point unaddressed. The omission raises questions about the author's understanding of the source material and suggests a disregard for the original text's integrity. The misinterpretation of Thoreau's Prose has also not gone unnoticed, with concrete examples given that highlight serious errors in translation. Moreover, readers feel the book does not effectively serve as a resource for English language learning, as the discussions delve into unnecessary philosophical debates rather than focusing on language acquisition. Overall, many reviewers express a sense of lost interest and suggest Prospective learners explore alternative materials if they intend to improve their English skills. **
