GSI Creos B522 Editorial Review
The Mr. Super Clear UV Cut Gloss #522 has seen predominantly positive reviews from users, particularly among modelers who utilize it for finishing vehicle headlights and various projects. Customers appreciate its effectiveness at preventing yellowing over time, with reports of achieving this for over a year with just a few coats. Many users note that the product is easy to use, mentioning how quickly it dries and how well it prepares surfaces for decals. However, some caution has been raised regarding the product's toxicity. Users have reported experiencing nausea and headaches when not using proper ventilation or protective gear. It is strongly advised to apply this spray outdoors and with a mask, as the fumes can be harmful, leading to a less-than-pleasant experience for some users. Additionally, some have pointed out that it requires careful application distance to avoid uneven finishes. On the technical side, while the finish is praised as superb, users are warned to be wary of humidity, which can affect the result. There are a few mixed reviews about the learning curve associated with the product; first-time users might need to rely on tutorials or their own intuition if they are not familiar with the application process. Overall, Mr. Super Clear UV Cut Gloss #522 appears to be a reliable choice for achieving a high-quality finish, provided that proper safety precautions are taken. **
